De Delftlanden

De Delftlanden; The City of Emmens sixth new housing project is predicting its past.
A fictional history book about de Delftlanden made up from stories by inhabitants of the community of Emmen. Two gatherings of locals were held to discuss and fantasize about the fictional history of ‘de Delftlanden’. The inhabitants were encouraged to let their thoughts run free and make up their own history and folklore.
Did you know that Delftlanders possess Thought catchers so they can get rid of unpleasant thoughts? Did you know that Delftlanders place sticks in the ground marked with their socks? These sticks are a signal to intruders to stay out of this property.
These and numerous other stories and ideas are the starting point for a book, which each new inhabitant of de Delftlanden will receive as a present when moving in.
The stories are supposed to be translated into Art-objects, which will be placed throughout ‘de Delftlanden’
