TO GO TO was the title of a series of installations made by various artists in the pedestrian tunnel near the ‘Hortus Botanicus’ in Amsterdam. The aim of the project was to transform the gloomy tunnel from a dark under passage into a special place.

 ‘LIFE IS SWEET LIFE IS BITTER’
The glass showcases are dressed up with dark red carpet and impressive pink baroque-like curtains. The showcases become an oasis of colour and riggishness in the dark, concrete tunnel. When looking into the showcase the curtains disclose nothing but a view through the glass backside of the showcase into the other half of the tunnel.
