Trading places back + forth
Central in this exchange project was the meeting between Dutch and Polish artists. During our working visit in Gdansk we were asked to realize an intervention in public space.

WHAT'S ME
Each day during my stay in Gdansk I was wearing another costume, which gave me a Dutch identity. Relatives and colleges in the Netherlands especially made these clothes for me.
Each day I asked one of the Polish artists to take me to a place in Gdansk that had a special meaning for them. In front of the spot they brought me to, a photograph was taken of me in my modern world costume. This way of working gave me a look on Gdansk from the inside.
With guts and self-mockery I showed a common exaggerated Dutch identity and in this way I came in contact with my Polish artists .
